Biography

Renny Chivunga is an engineer, pilot, model, sailor, and board member, with a diverse background spanning research, planning, operations, and the circular economy. She serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Newcastle's Chemical Engineering Department and was previously a Non-executive Director for The Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP).

In 2023, Renny was honoured as the Australian Water Association (AWA) NSW Mentor of the Year. Beyond her engineering career, she has appeared in “The Great Gatsby” and the Flight Facilities "Foreign Languages" music video. Renny frequently features on "making a difference" lists, with her story shared by both the ABC and City of Newcastle.
